The Cog Railway provided a special train mounted with a snowblower to bring rescue crews to the crossing of the Westside Trail on Mount Washington after 22-year-old Cole Matthes of Portsmouth placed a 911 on February 17 to say he fell and was injured while hiking in the Ammonusuc Ravine on the mountain’s western slope.
