When Kristen Welker of NBC news interviewed Senator Tim Scott (R-South Carolina) and asked whether he would accept the results of this November’s elections, he kept evading the question until she said, “a hallmark of our democracy is that both candidates agree to a peaceful transfer of power.” Scott responded, “This is why so many Americans believe that NBC is an extension of the Democrat party at the end of the day.”
