Although a competing facility also serves the area, the board of Indian Stream Health Center sees its proposed merger with Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital as being essential to “the future of primary care” in the North Country. The merger request is being reviewed by the Attorney General’s Charitable Trust Unit.
