Selectmen Finalize Proposed Budget

BRISTOL — Finalizing its proposed budget for 2017 at the last scheduled meeting of the year, the Bristol Board of Selectmen on Dec. 15 trimmed the departmental requests where possible to minimize the impact of the new wage schedule. Next year’s budget shows the full impact of the wage increases adopted earlier this year and, excluding water and sewer department spending and proposed warrant articles, is proposed at $5,291,196, an increase from $5,007,608 in 2016.
